Bath Time!

Hi Y’all,

The gators have kept me out of the water this year.  So, we decided to go for the bath.  My coat really needed a good shed out.  It was still much too wooly for the very warm weather here in the southeast.

To the right I’m waiting in the shower stall.  I have my own shower in the garage.  (The people who built the house had a big Lab.)

Above I’m all soaped up with my special medicated soap. This part really feels good…a rubber Oster equine scrubber gives a great massage!

And here I am starting to grin my Chessie grin!  My tail is drumming on the shower wall.  I’m all squeaky clean and rinsed off.  Next step is a walk with my Human in the hot sun until dry. Hot smile

  5. My mom would love to have a special shower and tub for me. Something tall so shed doesn't have to stoop over, with a hand shower with massage and good hot water, cause I get cold and...
    You sure are lucky Hawk!

    Just hopping by!

  7. Looking good, Hawk!

Nice - you get pampered during bath time!

My dog hates bath time LOL. It's a necessary evil for him, but fortunately it doesn't need to happen often.

  10. Darby goes to the dog wash for his baths. He likes the ride there a lot more than the bath itself, but he's also really happy to be done when it's over.

I'm sure you feel like a million bucks, Hawk :)

  14. I can't imagine how scary gators are! I'm glad that you're staying on shore.

And, I can't imagine having a special dog shower. That's awesome! We have a camp shower that's propane heated that we use to shower our dogs on the rare occasion that they need it.

  15. Your own shower?! Now that is snazzy! And I'm thinking I should get one of those equine scrubbers for myself! Ha!

Hope your sun dry was great, Hawkeye!

  17. Looking good Hawk!

We have no gators so the 2 brown dawgs have been out swimming. The water is still very cold though. Thunder is just starting to blow coat.
