Mischief???

Hi Y’all!

Today I’m joining Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog and My Brown Newfies for some good fun and mischief…

I had several comments about the durability of my old toy, that fell apart…

JoAnn Stancer

“opps, but you had fun opening it and running with it for a bit.”

Jans Funny Farm

“It fell apart? We hope Santa will replace it”

Dolly theDoxie

“Nothing like killing a few birds with one stone there Hawk. Sorry your new toy fell apart, I don't even get any presents because they don't last long! Love Dolly”

Emma

“Bailie has the same problem, she gets a toy she loves but she plays with it so much it dies in a short period of time. It looked nice while it lasted!”

P1340152

My editor didn’t catch, that in my excitement over my toy, that I wasn’t clear that my present was the replacement.

Above are some old photos of me retrieving my old toy from a tree where my “editor” had hidden it.

In all the photos below I’m playing with my new one that I got for Christmas.

And, in defense of the old toy, I found it washed up on the shore one day.  No tellin’ how long it had been sailin’ on the water or from where.  My Human washed it and let me keep it.

  1. How bad that your human washed the ole toy... it probably was like a message in a bottle when you found it on the shore :o) maybe Captain Blackbeard used it as a secret treasure map?

  2. I say it doesn't matter where the toy came from as long as you got it. :-)

  3. If only that old toy could tell the story of where it had been! Toys are great whether they are old or new, dirty or washed. You enjoy them just the same!

  5. Oh I am so happy your new toy made it. The poor old toy hanging out in water isn't good for it. Have fun playing.
