Migrating birds feeding on weed and flower seed on the slope behind the house offer entertainment during the day.
When the birds aren’t feeding, these little fellow fight over nuts and seed. They climb out on the flower or weed that has gone to seed and nibble at the seed. Sometimes they get too close to the end and go sailing into the air.
Cold mornings warmed by the rising sun often brings freezing mist or rain showers on the higher elevations.
Y’all come back now. I’ll have more autumn for y’all tomorrow.
