Meet Remi

Hi.  I’m Remi.

Remi/

I’m so happy to featured on Tuesday’s Tales…

I’ve been waiting a long, long time for my forever home.  When I was 5 weeks old my brother and I came here from the Red Lake Indian Reservation.

I was born in mid April 2007.  I’m housetrained and crate trained.

Remi/

I’d love to find a home that has a nice fenced yard, with a real fence where I could play.   I’d love to find that special home that would continue my training, take me for daily walks and give me lots of love and hugs and cuddles…

Since I’m 57 pounds, the rescue thinks it best if my forever home does not have children under 5 years.  Also, I’ll confess, I LOVE to chase cats!

I’m up to date on all my shots, neutered and microchipped.

Remi/

I think what’s kept me here waiting for so long is that they will not adopt me to anyone living outside of the Twin Cities Metro Area (Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and surrounding communities within 60 miles. Sorry, no exceptions).

Email us at arfminn@yahoo.com to request a pre-adoption questionnaire, which you can fill out and e-mail back to us. A completed questionnaire is required for each adoption in addition to a home visit.

  1. you must need to have a good money in your pocket before adopting any pet, because he might need some extra attention and extra investment as well dog food recipes

  4. Well this guy's story just makes me mad. The dog is just a couple of months older than Storm and has spent its entire life if rescue. I think that rescue needs to reevaluate its priorities and adoption criteria. I see they are not taking him to adoption events either. That tells me the dogs has issues or is not well socialized. What a sad, sad case. Doubt he will ever have his own home.

    1. Good luck Remy. Sometimes their hearts are in the right place, but the rules they create don't end up with the outcomes they are trying to achieve. I've had this argument before regarding rescue. There are reasons for rules and I get that. However, sometimes the rules prevent adoptions that could be good for dog and owner because they cling to closely to the rules. Sometimes they do need to look at the situation more closely to determine the best interest of the dog and that usually isn't living its whole life without a family.

  5. Sounds like Remi would do good in a really active house where he can run and play. Hope that home comes along soon.
