Yesterday was a wonderful day! Haven’t had a chance to download the pictures yet, but this week is about Chessies who can only dream of a furever home like mine…so friends, I’ll catch you up later, maybe next week on my fun and games…today I want to feature a sweet senior girl from the West.
Kiya is in Colorado. I know there are lots of you Chessies in Colorado…but this lady isn’t one of you lucky ones. Whether you’re a Chessie or a Golden, or a Spaniel or a sweet lap dog, get your Humans to read this and y’all start networking with friends to find her a home!
Name: Kiya, Sweet Senior Lady
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Color: Light Brown
- Kennel Cough
- Heartworm Preventative
A short bio from the Rescue site reads Kiya is a senior lady who was abandoned at the shelter by someone who tried to have her and her son euthanized because he was moving. We don't think it was her original owner, since she obviously is well trained and her vet history shows an owner that cares and wouldn't callously try to kill her. Kiya is very dedicated to her foster dad, and doesn't like to leave his side...she'll be a Velcro dog for her next dad or mom. By the appearance of her coat, she was an outdoor dog, but is adjusting quickly to being inside and enjoying her new comforts. Please consider this senior lady..

Y’all come back now! I’ll have more for you later! Hawk
