Hi Y’all!
Those of you who visited with me yesterday remember I promised some snow pictures. After almost summer like days we awakened Monday to sleet and snow.
Outside the mountains were obscured by the blowing snow.
After all that I was disappointed by the meager evidence the storm left in my yard.
But looking up at the higher elevations, where leaves had more sense than to put in an appearance yet, I saw a display that I’ve seen often in the winter, but never when the leaves were out.
That was Monday. Temperatures moderated in the afternoon and by Tuesday morning, without the pictures, we would have thought we imagined Monday. Temperatures have been in the upper 60’s with lows in the 50’s. It only got to 60 last night, but the day has been filled with thunder as storms circle again and again bringing rain. By the time you read this, temperatures are supposed to be “unseasonably warm”. IT’S SPRING!

How strange to get snow followed by all that warm weather. Hopefully you guys don't get too hot coming up with that unseasonably warm weather.

Looks like you are getting a variety of seasons all in one week. The snow looked so close, but we know it was too far away to go and play in.
