Hi Y’all!
It sounds like winter winds howling outside!
Do y’all remember my forecast back on March 23rd? I predicted a late frost and colder than normal April. The late frost has already happened and we are scheduled for a couple more nights below freezing this week. We might even get a couple of snow flurries! So my friends, the 2 brown dawgs, you are not alone!
Let me get on up this mountain side so I can see forever and see what’s comin’!
Well, almost forever…
Y’all come back now.
Don’t forget to check out my Facebook page for updates between posts and more pictures.
Wow - nights below freezing? I thought our weather report said tomorrow night might temps may be in the 30's. How strange - now we have to unpack a jacket or two again! Nina, Myshka, and Sasha will love it!
ReplyDeleteClimbing those mountains sure looks fun!

Hi Y'all,
DeleteThanks for stoppin'.
Mother Nature always makes us pay. Now it's April and the winds of March are blowin'!
Hawk
We have been having those weird temps here in NY too! Very strange!! It looks so beautiful there where you live!! Something weird is happening when we try to read your blog....it keeps taking us to a blog hop code! Anyway...we keep trying and were successful by clicking on your Brown Dog picture!! Have a great Wednesday!!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all,
DeleteThanks for telling me about the problem. I can no longer get the hop to post in my blog. I'm thinking of changing the blog style again, although I lose a lot of statistics.
Hawk
Hawk you've been better at predicting the weather than the weatherman! We had a pretty cold night last night but thankfully no snow like they said. Whew! Your mountain view really does go on for ever. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all,
DeleteThe air here is so dry we didn't get the flurries. Frost again tonight, but the 40mph winds should settle down.
Hawk
Beautiful pictures. You were right. We had a freeze last night and snow showers yesterday...ugg.
ReplyDeleteOn another note. I don't know why, but whenever I click over here from google reader, it goes to the post page, but then clicks right over to a linky page. I have a hard time getting back to the post page. Strange.
And it did it again when I sent my comment...
DeleteHi Y'all,
DeleteBichonpawz said the same is happening to them. They found my eyes on linky to get back. Guess we're lookin' at another change in the blog. My Human will be bald by the time we get this straightened out...if we ever do.
Hawk
We've got a very similar forecast here, too. Wish Mother Nature could make up her mind about the season! Beautiful photos, as always!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteMay in March and now March in April...least it's not February in April!
Hawk
Wow, I wouldn't mind having that weather. It's going to be 90 degrees here today.
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteIf we were at the shore it would probably be that warm.
Hawk
Love the photos : )
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteThanks!
Hawk
Thanks for stoppin' by Bocci's Beefs to say "hey", Brown Dawg! Looks like you got in a pretty good hike there!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteYep...that's how I keep the Humans fit!
Hawk
We are getting freezing temps now too....crazy weather!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteCrazy cold front went all the way to Florida!
Hawk
I'm glad we aren't getting high winds and snow flurries! Hope you guys stay warm and dry
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteThe air turned too dry for the flurries, but the 40mph winds! Still blowin'!
Hawk
The saving grace is the green I see!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteYou're right about that! Frost has been gettin' some flowers and blossoms though.
Hawk
Sounds like you brown dogs are pretty good meteorologists. Are you related to the wooly bear caterpillars? We use them for all our weather news.
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all,
DeleteThat's what my Human uses in the fall to tell about the winter.
Hawk
Woof! Woof! Since I moved ... I don't have to worry about SNOW colder weather. Just SUNNY Days ... Happy WW. Lots of Golden ALOHA n Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteYes, y'all have perfect weather out there in the islands!
Hawk
No warm seas here - Lake Superior is VERY cold - we had some snow two days ago; thank goodness we can see the grass at least trying to grow again :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteWhoa! Lake Superior is like living on the North Sea!
Hawk
Brown dog, Have you ever been tol how pretty you are? Well, I'm telling you...your eyes are stunning! Don't worry, here in NC it is 58 degrees today; UGH!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
DeleteThank you so much for the compliment! I get told how good I am. My Human Papa sometimes tells me I'm handsome. Wow! Thanks again!
Here in the southeastern mountains it only reached about 49F with 40mph winds.
Hawk
Great photos!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet notes on my bloggie! Please keep me in your thoughts, because I get my test results tomorrow.
Keep on wagging,
Tootsie
I had a feeling you were right about that forecast--Farmer Almanac couldn't have done any better! We had cold and rain mixed with a little bit of snow. I think it's going to be a 3 dog night for us...again!!
ReplyDeleteStay warm!! :-)
Hey Hawk, Jet here.
ReplyDeleteWe do remember your forecast... you should apply for a weatherdog position on tv... does that mean your apples will have problems? I think you mentioned worrying about a fruit crop...
