Follow Up Friday

 

Hi Y’all!

Sophie wondered if there were warm breezes on this sunset evening?

Well, Sophie, there were warm breezes.  However, if I may expand my response for a moment, breezes are not always warm.  Sometimes they can be downright chilly here at the shore. 

Fred and Gloria want to know if I made my list for Santa yet.  Yes I have…

Sugar wanted to know if I ever got compliments from my vet about my teeth.  Sugar is 11 years old and has gotten compliments from hers.

No, I haven’t gotten compliments from my vet, that I recall, regarding my teeth.

Roxy wanted to know what I was looking at in Sunday’s post.

I’m looking at the birds, of course; just as Gizmo suggested!

Finally, regarding these birds…Sugar asks if I knew Cormorants were fish eaters?

Yes, I do.  Sugar also asked if there were enough fish here for them.

There is plenty of fish.  You can see the one bird above diving for his dinner.  The lake is actually fed by several tributaries and springs which flow over a dam and then end in the ocean.

There are lots of interesting facts about the cormorants, but that will have to wait for another post.
