Hi Y’all!
On Wordless Wednesday’s post “Number One on My Agenda” y’all were questioning what I was doing…fetching a lost ball? just cooling off…
“Did you loose your toy? Happy BlogPaws WW. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar”
“Looks like you're having fun, were you fetching?”
“You didn't get very wet, Hawk. Sometimes a wade is all it takes, huh? The water will be there for more swimming later!”
But it was the Wag n Woof gang who asked for more of an explanation…
“Just having a little cool off swim, Hawk? Or is there more to the story? :)”
The first thing I wanted to do when we came back to the shore from the mountains was check out the beach. It was hot and I didn’t go inside to get a toy…I just ran to the shore to check out the water…Then my Human heard a loud smack and called me back to the pier…she wasn’t sure if it was a fish breaking or a gator.
About yesterdays game of “hide and seek”, Monty and Harlow ask, “BOL - do your folks ever think they lost you?
Monty and Harlow”
Sometimes my Human panics when she doesn’t see or hear me. But I have excellent recall and come for a treat when she calls or blows her whistle.
Now as soon as I saw Monty and Harlow signed the note instead of Sam I knew something was terribly wrong.
Sam has left us to cross the Rainbow Bridge and left behind pain and confusion…
I promised to share some of the beauty here at the shore…today I’d like to share these moments in memory of, and as a tribute to a pawed friend, Sam, who brought a special beauty to all those who shared his life and all whose lives he touched through his blog.
Y’all come back now!
Oh Hawk my MOM is all teared up again with your beautiful tribute to Sam. Just beautiful my friend.
