After two 82F days (about 27C), my exercise is limited.  The Humans have turned the air conditioning on in the house.

A sudden raise in temperature can be devastating to any animal or human.

P1480564

Slow down, shorten the length of time you exercise.  Keep well hydrated and provide a place where we can cool down.

P1480565

I like to stand in the water when I get hot.

P1480566

Y’all, don’t forget to change your clocks!

P1480567

We’re supposed to have a cold front coming through which should lower the temps to more spring like ones.

My Human took these photos today with her cell phone.  I thought they might give y’all still buried in snow some hope.

Have a great weekend y’all and hurry on back!

  1. We're having a heat wave starting today, going above freezing, but I don't think we will need the a/c just yet. 82 is awfully warm for this time of year. Keep on cruisin' around with your bumper! Did you see the MM hop is back on for sure.

  4. Are those?!? Are those cherry blossoms? They look beautiful!

It's better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure the humans will be up and running again once the temperature drops to a desirable temp

  9. That's definitely not a problem we're having here! Even though we also have cherry blossoms.

  10. Oh yes, thank you for the beautiful photos!! It's hard for us to imagine 82 degrees or needing to get out the doggie pool to cool off yet, but we'll get there.
Oh, and now we have to lose an hour of sleep! The good news is that the dogs will sleep later though!
    Stay cool, Hawk!

  14. Aren't these temperature changes crazy?? We also had temps in the low 70s this weekend, and had to adjust our outside play & exercise time accordingly. Standing in the water is a very smart way to cool off, and we will definitely get one of those hard plastic kid pools for the pups this year. Last year they were sold out, so we had to go for an inflatable one..didn't last the season, of course..

  15. 82 huh? We are looking forward to 50 today. :) Beautiful pictures.

Thanks so much for stopping back by my blog and for you well wishes. My surgery went well. I was nervous about the general anesthesia because I tend to get very nauseated from it. They premeditated me this time so I woke up felling great. Pain was minimal as promised and now I hope to see some vision improvement over the next few months.
