Hi Y’all!
Last Saturday’s post, evoked this comment:
Looking good in sepia, Hawk! Whats got you looking so intently in that direction?
I was watchin’ my Human Papa watchin’ the sunset.
Sunday’s post brought these questions:
Are you winking at me, Mr???
Oz theTerrier said..
Hawk, do you know what a cool dude you really are? Is that why your winking? Sorry I didn't make it by yesterday, pal. Happy Sunday. Oz
Hey handsome Hawk - you winking at all the ladies out there?

Oh, who are you winking at, Hawk? A lady-friend
I’m winkin’ at all of you, my friends! Oh, and my Human too.
On Mischief Monday, when I didn’t get a treat I got this comment…

Sorry, no treats…ignoring the Humans is not a good idea…that’s what I learned.
Hawk! Tell your mama to give you a Jones Natural Chew hoof! Then you'll speak to her again.

My Human won’t let me have hoof. Seems that some of my long passed brothers and sisters used to like to steal the hoof trimmings when the blacksmith to shoe the horses. The problem wasn’t that the horses needed the trimmings from their hooves, but that my predecessors would get sick and throw up. Sigh…
But don’t despair, they got me something special at the farm co-op.
Y’all hurry back now!
Yep we knew dogs that ate the trimmings off the hooves and it did not agree with them either. Have a tremendous Thursday Hawk.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I like cat food, but my momma won't let me have it since it do not agree with my tummy. It stinks!
ReplyDeleteI made the mistake of trying to get the trimming of a horses hoof while it was still untrimmed. Not a good idea. thank goodnes the horse was a nice horse and understood I was just a wee child......
ReplyDeleteGlad you always come by and explain what you are doing, it's make life more interesting to know stuff like that, have a great day Hawkeye

Thanks so much for joining Barks and Bytes. I really appreciate it. The one picture of you in front of the mountain is beautiful. I wonder what special thing you got from the farm co-op. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never known a dog to get sick from a Jones hoof (I think they're baked versus the fresh trimmings, and they're cow, not horse), but Jodi is right about the smell! PEWEEEE! They stink when they're chewed!
ReplyDeleteThat said, I can't wait to see what your folks got you, Hawk!
