Hi Y’all!
Oh I can’t contain my excitement! Talking Dog’s for Love of a Dog bestowed the
Isn’t it beautiful! Thank you, thank you “Talking Dogs”. You know, they have some of the neatest sites too! I follow them on Google Plus, and my Human likes their For Love of a Dog with its handmade dog, cat and horse jewelry and even nice gifts for us pawed ones.
Now that I’ve thanked Talking Dogs and Tucker, Lucy, Jeffie and Rudy, the talking dogs, who bestowed the award and provided y’all a link back to their blog.
I need to share seven things about myself.
First, I LOVE to run!
Second, I love being at the shore before the water gets so warm the alligators show up.
Third, when I’m in the house I like laying on one of my beds and napping, preparing for the next outing!
Fourth, I will protect my Human. Here I see the man who maintains the bird boxes.
Here is the man.
Putting his ladder in his boat and preparing to leave.
Fifth, my Humans have to give me regular allergy shots.
Sixth, I take my duties as chief boat inspector very seriously.
Finally, I love to explore new places or places I haven’t been in awhile.
And third, I need to share the award with seven other bloggers.
First is It’s a Vizsla Thing. You’ll love the photography and the beautiful Vizsla playing the staring role.
Second is Dakota’s Den. A neat dog named Dakota. Also some great info on this blog about “happenings”.
Third is Spotty, Spotty Polkadotty. This is a wonderful blog featuring an adopted dog, Blueberry and her person.
Fourth is My Brown Newfies. If you love big dogs, you’ll love Sherman and Leroy!
Fifth is 2BrownDawgs. They have a neat new gallery display for photos. If you want to see and understand real working retrievers as they “do their work”, this is a “must read”.
Sixth is How Sam Sees It. This is a blog with 2 beautiful but very different Goldens. So you don’t get confused about who is speaking, Sam or Monty, different color text is used. Check the description in the sidebar.
Finally, I want to share this award with, (drumroll) Bringing Up Bella! Bella is the star of the blog, but it is authored by her forever parents. Bella was abandoned on the “mean streets”, rescued then sent to the U.S. where she was adopted. Anyone who has ever had or ever will have a dog with “issues” will appreciate Bella’s story. I suggest you begin at the tab “Bella’s Story” before reading the blog posts.
Hope y’all enjoy these blogs. Many of you may be familiar with most or all of them.
Y’all come back now!
Your a boat inspector too?!! I have never been on a boat. MOM tried to get me in a canoe once but I was having non of it. maybe if it was bigger. I really like the photo of you running in the field.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose

I am soooooooo flattered though and it means the world to me that you think so highly of me!
Your photos on this blog post were just incredible!!!
I think you are just fantastic!

Barks and licks and love, Dakota (writing from Cody's sign in!)
Congratulations on your award, Hawk! So well-earned. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks so much for the kind words about us and passing the torch our way. I can't tell you how much that means to us.
I didn't know you had allergies! (How did I miss that?) I hope the shots make you feel better. And can I just say "Alligators?!?!?!" I don't care what season it is, I don't think I'd ever let you go near that water so be glad you got the hu-folk you did 'cause this one wouldn't let you have any fun with alligators nearby. ;)
Thanks again and hope you're having a wonderful day.
Congratulations on your award! ...and thank you for passing it on to us! :D
