Hi Y’all!
In that racing around I did to get my exercise in before the rains I stepped on a briar or thorn. Before we got back I was limping. My Human tried to find the problem, feeling my paw and pad looking for the culprit. After determining it was not a sprain and must be in the pad, the Humans hustled me home where proper lighting was used and a pair of tweezers eventually located the problem. My paw was treated with antiseptic and the leg rubbed with alcohol. I spent the afternoon in my crate resting.
Tomorrow I’ll share some of the beautiful sights I saw!
Y’all come come back now!

Ooooo I hate those thorns. Glad your human got you home right a way and got it on. Not a good way to end a run. Looking forward to your pictures tomorrow.

hey Hawk,
ReplyDeleteOuch! Misery is right. Thorns are a pain! And that is a pain to have to end a very fun run with a sore paw. I am furry glad your humans were able to take care of your paw for you. Resting was a good idea as well. Feel better!!
Very pretty photos today. In photo two I could barely see you! You are so well camouflaged with the brown leaves. :-> I am anxious to see the rest of your wonderful photos!

Hope your leg is better soon. There seems to be an abundance of leg injuries in blog-ville this fall.

Wow - your humans are right on top of it and took care of you lickety split! Glad that you have them trained so well! Did you give them a treat for helping you out like that?
