Hi Y’all!
I stands for independent. I as in ME. We Chessies are sometimes referred to as stubborn…I prefer to think of us as independent thinkers. We figure things out for ourselves…
sometimes our Humans are not particularly happy with us because of this trait. TOO BAD!!!

Us Weenies are also very stubborn. It's OUR WAY or NO WAY!

Woof! Woof! I'm curious what did you do? You are not stubborn ... just being a DOG. Happy BlogPAWs (NOT) Wordless Wednesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteI think that's a fine trait to have.
ReplyDeleteMy smarts gets me in trouble sometimes, but I hear my Mom brag about how smart I am when I do what she wants ... It's "independent" or "stubborn" when I do what I wants ... hmmmm. Surely there's a compromise here ...

There's nothing wrong with being stubborn. Sometimes even dogs need their own space like we humans.
ReplyDeletehahaha too bad, right words for all humans.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with being independent and thinking for yourself. You're one smart pup!
ReplyDeleteI agree independent probably does irritate the owner, but it's nice to be independent once and awhile.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pooch! Gorgeous coat. My Smoosh (an English Bulldog) is one of the most stubborn dogs I know; I can completely relate!

An independent dog...hmmm, I've heard a rumor that some people live with dogs who aren't...but I think that's just a rumor, isn't it? :-)
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with being independent. My Sephi was very independent, except when it came to food. She would do just about anything for a cookie. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo true, Chessies can be independent thinkers and I would add they can get very set in their ways. Or maybe those are just our Chessies. :)
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw your letter was I, that is exactly what I was thinking ;) Although yes it can be frustrating for us humans at times it is one of the qualities I love about Chessie's :)
