Hi Y’all!
M is for Monday, that’s today.
M is for Mischief…
Hey, Human! I think that mockingbird is trying to tell you something!
I think he is asking for a new orange half, don’t you?
He’s tryin’ to get the last bit out. Shame on you Human!!! He’s hungry!
Now for some real mischief…my mischief…
Sunday morning my Human Mama took my Human Papa a cup of coffee into the bedroom and set it on the bedside table. When she left, I slipped in and took a BIG slurp!!!
BOL!!!
Y’all come back now!

Great Post Hawk. Love the bird and I agree, it is time to get a different orange.
ReplyDeletegreat mischeif too. But didn't it burn your tongue?
Yep that birdie looks like it wants a fresh orange. I think I will hang some oranges out on my tree. I love watching the birdies. I am sure you were just testing the coffee to make sure it was not to hot for your papa. That's not mischief, that's caring about the ones you love.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
We have never seen a mocking bird before. Thanks for sharing Hawk. Was the coffee to your liking? Have a marvelous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
What a gorgeous bird! I love that it's eating out of a piece of fruit.
ReplyDeleteWho can resist a lick of that delicious coffee? :) Finn likes a slurp of some iced coffee herself! Lovely set of that bird and the orange. How resourceful to get in there for every last bit!
ReplyDeletehaha how did it taste? You just didn't want it to go to waste.
ReplyDeleteI would say the bird is looking for more goodies. Did you like the coffee??
ReplyDeleteSam drank a cup of coffee when he was a puppy - it was one of the most bizarre days we have ever had with him. He was very, very wired...

Well Hawk - you and my duck, Petey, have something in common. He likes coffee, too. With cream and sugar. That's a right pretty little mockingbird. I had one in high school. Lived in my bedroom and pooped everywhere. Never thought to give it oranges. It sure loved live spiders, though.

BOL! Hope it was decaf!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering when that mockingbird was going to get another half of orange!!! And...you drank coffee? Did it have cream/milk or was it straight up?

ReplyDeleteit's tasty orange! Yum!
ReplyDeleteCoffee huh Hawk...Never tried it myself...do you recommend it? Momz wants to know about that orange...Do birds really like them? We have plenty of oranges that we can slice and hang like that but never knew they were good for birds
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me... I need to feed the birds and get myself another cup of slobber-free coffee. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is some excellent mischief Hawk! We think the birdie needs more orange or he is wondering how it got hung on the tree like that.
ReplyDeletethe brown dawgs
What great bird pictures. I wouldn't mind if you slurped my coffee.
ReplyDeleteLove your bird photos! That is some good mischief Hawk ;)
