Hi Y’all!
Some of y’all may have noticed that as the days get longer the coats get…less dense. Long days mean lots of sheddin’ for us double coated pawed ones.
A good bath and lots of brushin’ really helps us pawed ones shed out our old itchy coats.
Y’all come back now!

I don't have as much furs as you do Hawk, but MOM has noticed a few extra furs laying around. A brush does not seem to do the trick, but a good bath sure helps get the loss furs off.

Yikes a bath. Don't show my peeps she may get ideas. Have a marvelous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Woof! Woof! Definitely daily brushing helps a lot. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of hair you give off, could just take the vacuum cleaner to you.lol
ReplyDeleteEven my short-haired boxer is shedding in the Mexican heat.
ReplyDeleteI'm a non shed dog, but that just means it all stays in my fur and gets matted. I have to go to the groomer, and then I'm like velvet for a while, till it grows! Trudy (sniff sniff) My human allowed me to leave this comment
ReplyDeleteThat's not dust blowing in the wind here, it's Sheltie hair.
ReplyDeleteHooray for shedding!!! Why isn't there a sarcasm font? I mean, seriously. I've been brushing butt loads of fur off my dogs for WEEKS. Gah.

Mom has decided she is going to try to felt a little Sam out of all the hair he has shedded out. :/

Of course once you've had that bath you need to get back outside in the dirt and water and get some good smells back on you right Hawk? That's what I do!
ReplyDeleteOh dawg, Hawk...do I hear you about the undercoat shedding! Unfortunately, some of us terriers need to be stripped; I hate it. All that tugging and pullings of my fur but it does make me cooler for the warm months!

ReplyDeleteWe still have coats here because it hasn't warmed up enough yet. Baths and swimming do help when it is time for them to go! Love the sudsy picture.
ReplyDeleteMy bro, Piper, sheds all over the house! He's a Golden and he leaves "poofs" in every corner! BOL
ReplyDeleteYuck…we hate bath time! We can't let our mom see you getting a bath Hawk. She might get the idea that we need a bath!
