Hi Y’all!
There are strange things happening in “these here hills”…
My Humans took me for a play date…I heard lots of dogs but only met a couple. My Humans left for an hour. I was upset and tried to get out the gate where we had come into the yard.
Then a couple of days later my Humans took me back…I had a great time with the big Doberman…but then when I was ready to go home, they left. Guess it was a furry equivalent of a pajama party.
I was more than a wee might puzzled, because I’ve never ever been away from them overnight…but I was so tired…I found a crate fixed up with my bed from home. So I went in and went to sleep.
Oh, I didn’t tell y’all the best part! Not only were there lots of other dogs of all different sizes, but there was a DOG DOOR! WOW!!!
We don’t have a dog door so before my Humans left they taught me to use it!
Let me tell you! I wore that door out!!!
When I heard my Humans’ car returning in the morning I was on that porch to meet them!!!
Y’all come back now!
What beautiful sky shots!!! I think I was about 7 before I knew what a dog door was. The very first time I used one I was at my gal pal Belle's house. I saw her go out it (it was one that was in a screen door). So I went running through it after her and dang if I did not send the whole screen door flying across the patio!!! Butt now I am a pro. Dog doors are the BEST!!

We love you sky pix Hawk. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
It sounds like your people left you at a nice place with a dog door and that beautiful sky!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are meeting some new friends Hawk and getting in some nap time!
ReplyDeleteMy Vickie swears by doggy doors. She say's that little ones learn to be potty trained quicker and the older ones, when they dont have as much control as when they were younger do soooo good with dog doors. Plus when they are old and young, My Vickie doesn't have to get up in the middle of the night to let us in and out.
ReplyDeletegood seeing you bud

Nala used to use a doggie door. Me... I never had a chance before they took the doors off the patio. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteLove those sky pics! Beautiful!

Sweet! No matter how much fun you might have had while you were apart, homecoming is always the best. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very nice camp you went to. I wonder what your humans were up to that they left you with a doggie door? At least you had a beautiful sky to look at and other doggies to visit with. Have a great night.
ReplyDeleteIf your humans had to leave you, it sounds like they found the nicest place possible to do so. I bet they didn't want to leave you, and it sounds like they didn't leave you for long! Sometimes humans just have to do stuff.
