Hi Y’all,
As I write this the sun is bright and I’m enjoying my sunbeams! It’s mid morning and temperatures are already in the upper 60’s Fahrenheit.
I promised more pictures from this stay in the mountains.
Above I pick up the scent of something from the ridge above us. I’ve even dropped my toy in case further action is necessary.
My Human loves this photo with the storm clouds receding and the snow still visible on the far mountain tops. The green bushes on the bank on the right are wild mountain laurel.
Yesterday evening the sun was slanting across the yard as I tried to catch the scent to the sounds coming from across the valley.
Below the evening shadows accentuate the “hollars” as the mountains roll toward the gap.
The evening has become slightly hazy. Mornings a chilly and the scent of wood smoke is strong.
Join me tomorrow for some action shots of me playing catch with my Papa.
How pretty!

Those are some lovely photos, Hawk. I can get pics like that if I drive east about 30 minutes, but rarely do. Thanks for sharing.
