Hi Y’all!
Come on along on my hike on the mountain.
The Rhododendrons are just past peak.
Looking through the clouds.
Careful, the trail has washed badly thanks to the almost daily thunderstorms.
The devastated forest that once made this trail almost as dark as night and hid bears from sight.
Join me tomorrow for the rest of my hike.
Y’all come back now!

Oh it will be hard to wait, but what choice do I have. MOM for some reason laughed at the last photo. I have no idea why. But for whatever reason it made her smile and giggle.

ReplyDeleteThat's nice, your post sounds like a great poem!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, aren't rhododendrons bad for dogs? So be careful okay? Don't attempt to eat them.
Have a great weekend!

Very pretty. Sad to see the forest so thin. We have problems with the oaks by our cabin due to oak wilt. Less and less acorns mean less and less deer.
