Hi Y’all!
I know a lot of y’all are still trying to dig out of some record snow falls…so I thought I’d show you that spring is already headed your way!
Pear Blossoms.
Egrets dressed in their mating plumage.
Banded geese passing through on their way north. A few will join local flocks and stay here to nest.
Turtles out sunning themselves among the sprouting daylilies and iris.
Sleep tight my friends…
Y’all come back now!

I'm glad Spring is on they way! We've got some daffodils starting to come up here too but they aren't nearly as pretty as yours.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that wonderful taste of spring! Can't wait till it creeps it's way up here!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos--We have very few signs of spring here, and you've given me something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
The egrets are stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos my friend, thanks for the hope of spring, it can't get here soon enough!
ReplyDeleteWhy do those birds have bands on their necks? I'm assuming for tracking purposes but does it hurt the bird or restrict their eating?
we're mighty close to spring here in texas - not quite as close as you are there.
ReplyDeletelove the egret plumes.
Ooh, you do look like you're settling into spring.
ReplyDeletewhereas in my area....well, it's something like 12 degrees today. And super windy.
So if you want to keep those lovely spring-y pictures coming, I won't object!
Enjoy the bloom of spring
