Special Moments from 2012

 

Hi Y’all!

Last winter found me spending lots of time in the mountains instead of the shore. 

The smell of wood smoke from wood stoves often scented the frigid air. 

I still managed to get the Humans out and about for some exploration!

We spotted the fresh claw marks on the tree. 

Just as I was about to despair…

We’re all heading home to the shore!

I just ran and ran!

Then I had to help unload the car!

It was late February 2012 and we closed out the evening with a walk along the shore at sunset.

Mornings dawn with the squawks of heron and egrets.  Before full daylight the honking of geese calling to each other fills the air.  Soon the sounds of the smaller birds fill the air.

 

 

A morning at the shore wouldn’t be complete without some ducks joining.

 

 

Being at the shore meant more golf cart rides!
