Hi Y’all!
I must really be slowin’ down in my old age ‘cause I’m “IT” again! Thanks to Magic at Life in the Doghouse. Gotta really think about some stuff y’all don’t already know about me…hmmm…
1. Describe yourself in seven words.
Since I already answered this in my previous post, I’m going to tell you a few things that you many not know.
I’m very demanding! I BARK, LOUDLY, when I want something. If I need to go out, there is NO shutting me up!
My Dogs Love Me asked
“Hawky, I know its a little too personal for me but can I ask a question?
*-_-* I'm embarrassed.
Anyway back to the questions, did your human get you fixed? Just asking.”
I don’t mind answering. Yes, I was fixed when the vet was hoping it would help with the allergy problem. However, we had to wait until we had most of the inflammation cleared up. That effectively ended my show career and any future as a papa.
My Dogs Love Me continued “By the way, I like your body proportions... it really shows how well fed and how well exercised you are. ^_^”
Thank you for the compliment.
“Speaking of, I wonder what happened to Mr. Wubba Octopus”
I’m not sure what you mean “what happened?”. Mr. Wubba Octopus lives in the mountains and plays with me in the yard there. He never gets to leave the house or yard there. He never gets to go hiking. If you’re referring to how worn out he looks…he’s getting old and frayed.
2. What keeps you up at night?
Only strange noises outside.
3. Who would you like to be?
I’m happy with my life and family.
I don’t really know what others’ lives are really like, so don’t know if I’d want to be anybody else. There is a saying I hear from the Humans “the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence”. It might look better, but it really isn’t.
4. What scares you?
Not being able to help my Humans when one of them is sick.
5. What are you wearing?
My friends Jon Farleigh and Dewi along with their human, Elizabeth said “We think you are wearing a curly brown coat (like a built-in slanket). :) “
6. The best and the worst of blogging.
The best of blogging is getting to know how much you Humans love us pawed ones. I love meeting and getting to know K and R and their humans KB and Runner. Another example of the deep bond between us and our Human is Lilly and her human, Roxanne. There are many others, too numerous to mention, but all prove examples for the way the man and dog bond should be…a two way bond. We look after our humans, secure in the knowledge that they will love and care for us when we are in need.
The worst of blogging is when a human’s companion leaves for the Rainbow Bridge and takes a chunk of their human’s heart when they go. Not only does the human’s life change and their heart break, but all of Blogville is torn asunder by the loss.
7. What is the last website you visited?
8. What is one thing you would change about yourself?
I’d learn to listen when they tell me “quiet”. If Papa says “shut up”, I do, for a minute. I just can’t seem to listen when Mama says “shh” or “quiet”.
I know it slows things down, cause my Human stops and turns her back every time I bark and won’t move ‘til I stop. But as soon as she moves, I start again and she stops again. Sigh…she just won’t understand it’s EXCITEMENT!!! Sigh…
Some candids of some of my more obedient moments.
Bird watching with my Human.
A funny face.
Boat inspection.
Carryin’ the mail.
Helpin’ to bring some potatoes from the root cellar.
Practicing water retrieves.
9. Slankets yes or no??
See the answer to number 5.
10. Tell us something about the person who tagged you.
That would be dear sweet Magic who will shortly be a new mama. Yes, you heard right; keep paws crossed that Magic the beautiful salt and pepper Miniature schnauzer will safely become a loving mama. You’ll have to forgive her if she is a bit out of sorts the next week or so before the pups are born.
Yes, she lives in Yorkshire in the UK. Her family consists of 3 hens, 2 cats, 2 affenpinschers and another, full sister, Miniature schnauzer.
And now I’ll tag some of my playmates.
