It’s Barkin’ Back Time!

Hi Y’all!

P1450371

Snow’s gone now.  The above photo was taken the other day.  We got 6 inches here in the high country.  My Human was wishing they had remained in the low country.

But now it’s time to joinThursday’s Barks and Bytes Blog Hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like a Dog and take a look back at what y’all were barkin’ about this past week.

I’m also linkin’ up with Ruckus the Eskie and Love is Being Owned by a Husky for Thoughtless Thursday.

About last Saturday’s post, “Burning Water Janet Keefe said…

“Very cool photo, Hawk. Things are so beautiful early in the morning, aren't they?

Just thought I’d share some sights from some of my morning walks at the shore. I think mornings are magical.

Next was Sunday’s post “Creature in the Night”.  It was almost too dark to get a clear photo…

“is that a heron? or is it such a stork-guy who eats the frogs (bet he came from france lol) Have a super sunday!”

Oz theTerrier

“Egret or Heron, Hawk? It's hard to tell in that light. Happy B&W Sunday

How Sam Sees It

“Is that a Heron? Spooky!

“Wow! Egret? Crane? And--an elk? Moose? We don't have any of that down here in Curaçao, but they look amazing. And great job on a night shot; I still can't manage any amount of clarity for those yet. Kudos!

Emma

“Did the bird deliver that second creature??? Sure looks dark and spooky out there.”

P1440940

The bird, as you can see from the photos taken on the way back to the house, is a Great Blue Heron.

Then we come to Monday Mischief

Frankie Furter and Ernie said

“One MUST be well rested in order to pursue the BEST Mischief ... RIGHT?”

P1450071

I was supposed to be bringing the duck “to hand”…but it was hot and I decided to take a short break.  Oh I did get back to work and deliver the bird.

P1450121

But more about my retrieving practice tomorrow…and you’ll see more of my buddy, the duck.

Y’all hurry on back now!
