Hi Y’all!
Yes, Spring is in the air!
We still have the occasional cool night, but this morning it was 63 degrees Fahrenheit when we took our before breakfast walk before daylight. Dawn brought a rain storm and then it cleared to a beautiful sunny day.
The following are some of the sights I saw today!
Fishing boats heading out at dawn with man in short sleeves and shorts.
Sport boats zooming.
Camellias blooming.
Cherry blossoms too.
Then the sun lowered in the sky and the geese headed home to bed.
The setting sun turned the water an orange color.
Then one of them noticed me watching.
Then they all turned to assess the situation.
Then they discussed the situation. In the meantime I stood still.
Then they decided to continue on their way home for the night.
All for now folks!
I’m exhausted! Can’t hold my eyes open…
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Ooooooooohhhhh, Cherry Blossoms! My favourite! I am so jealous of your springy weather!
ReplyDeleteHawkeye, you look so cute sleeping there after such a hard day tending your land. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it!!
ReplyDeleteOMG...your world is fresh and gorgeous...it gives us vicarious peeks into a real beautiful place. Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteWow, spring really is coming. It just hasn't gotten this far north yet. I'll be watching for it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hawk, for showing us what it looks like so we recognize it when it gets here.
What a glorious walk you had! We love those signs of spring too, except it took a turn towards winter in the Pacific NW. Brrrrr
ReplyDeleteFabulous spring photos! The camelias and cherry blossoms look so colorful and pretty - especially since it's still all wintery here in various shades of gray and white! And you deserve a good rest after all of the sites you saw on your walk. Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I have a case of the jealousies! It's snowing more here right now, ugh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your spring with us!
Nubbin wiggles,

63 degrees?! ahhh! can't wait for it to be that warm here in the northeast!
ReplyDeleteMakes me wish I didn't have to look out my window and see messy wet melting snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to be with a dog.
You are certainly a lucky doggie! I am sure it looks like that here under all the snow....enjoy, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi there,
