Hi Y’all,
Once upon a misty morn…
My Human and I headed out for our regular morning walk. As usual, I went to see if the boat was back.
Hearing us on the pier the head sank beneath the water.
We headed on down to the long pier.
On the way back, I think my Human was of the opinion that it was a drifting log we had seen.
Or not.
We’ve been hearing this guy holler on our bedtime walk. Guess it means I can forget about swimming for this season.
Y’all come back now.

That is one big boy! Hate to come across him on a morning walk. Stay safe there Hawk. We want to hear from you tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteYikes! I would stay far away from that guy!
ReplyDeletecreepy!
ReplyDeleteI'd stay far away from him, too! Too bad about not being able to swim though, not that I like to even get my feet wet, but I know some dogs enjoy it.

Scary!!! I wouldn't go near the water either.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I think alligators are amazing creatures-I got to "pet" one at a sanctuary in Florida-but there is no way I'd be going swimming either. Maybe he'll move on next summer and you can have your swimming hole back? :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Now that's a very good reason to stay out of the water!
ReplyDeleteStay out of the water Hawk! That log has teeth! Mama saw a bad movie about a really big alligator...gives us both chills.
ReplyDeleteStay safe!

Ack, Hawk! I don't like that gator at all and I don't like that he's keeping you out of the water! He does look like a log and too bad he doesn't chase them because then your humans could throw one waaayyy down stream and tell him to fetch!

We wouldn't be swimming either!
ReplyDeleteHawk, you need a pool for the days when the pond isn't available, like Darby has :)
