What hauntingly beautiful pics! I remember how serene the Chesapeake always seemed when I lived in VA. I grew up and was born in DC, so my family was always headed towards the coast for vacations. Being a history nerd, I always imagined what it must have been like at the time of the settlers' arrival and their encounters withe native people in this pristine land. Nerd, I know...LOL
