Hi Y’all!
Another beautiful day in the mountains! Leaves are falling, but the vibrant colors will be in October.
It’s hard being a cow or calf in the mountains.
Flies can be nasty too.
They have some neat hidey holes too.
Some of them are just lazing about.
Y’all come back now!

Mom is trying to remember a joke about tree cows, but can't quite get it this morning. Those are great photos!

Ick black flies are the worst, one thing mom does not miss about her child hood country living (though she does miss plenty of other things). Fall is right around the corner we can feel the crisp in the air here too

The cows and calves look pretty content up there, enjoying the shade.

Hey Hawk, Jet here.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I've never seen mountains up close and personal! Are cows fun to chase or follow?
what fun seeing cows in the mountains! Wonder if they are busy making milk?
ReplyDeleteYikes those flies. I guess even if the weather is cooler, they won't go away for a bit.
