Hi Y’all,
Okay, I know y’all are anxious to know more about my surgery.
If you look closely at my mattered, weepy eye you will see a large brown growth on the upper lid.
I needed it removed.
When the surgeon was finished, I had a dentist examine my mouth and clean my teeth. During the dental examination they found a tooth that needed extraction, so that was done also.
I’m still on antibiotics, but feel great. Best of all that irritating thing is off my eyelid! And NO I did NOT need a “cone of shame”.
Y’all come back now…I have to find my way through here!

Aww Hawky!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you're alright... That's how Rin's eyes started. I am glad they took it out early on. We can't wait to see pictures of you soon!
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
Glad you are well Hawk and your eyelid is now nice and comfy and that you did not need the cone of shame. Hope the toothy extraction is not oochie. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hope you're feeling all better soon! Isn't it great to have clean teeth?!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to hear that it all went well. I've been away and did not know of this needed surgery. Let us know what you find when you get through there.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
YAY!! So glad that you didn't need the cone of shame and glad that your surgery went well!
ReplyDeleteThis is Dakota's Mom....thanks for visiting Dakota's blog! I have another blog on Blogger which is why my Cat blog is showing up.
Was trying to follow you, but you don't have the "follow by email" option installed (if you do I can't find it!) Would love to follow via email if you wouldn't mind installing that or telling me where it is if I am missing it! Have a great day!
Glad it went well and you are feeling good again!

Oh - glad you are ok! You are so handsome - you don't need a growth over your eyelid to mar your appearance. Phew - much better!
ReplyDeleteThat's great you got it done! Lamar has one of those on his eyelid too, but our non-meddlesome vet has recommended we leave it. It hasn't grown in over a year but I may ask him to revisit it. Glad it went well!
ReplyDeleteHooray for no cone! You are a gorgeous pup!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my PoochSmooches blog!
Happy things went well, my friend....take care!

ReplyDeleteSorry I must have missed the post about your needing some surgery. Glad you're all fixed up now and on the mend. I heard frosty paws make eyes and teeth feel much better faster, I'd ask for some :)

Pshew...no cone of shame. I haven't had to experience that yet, but I don't think it would go well. Glad you are doing better, Hawk! I bet you will be seeing all kinds of new stuff.
