Fun Friday!

Hi Y’all!

Today I’m going to try to reply to some of your comments…

Remington, I’ll answer you first.

Remington asked what I did with all the snow…We’re in the southeast.  When we are here at the shore we don’t have snow…about every 20 years or so you get a pretty snow that causes black ice on the roads and they tell everyone to stay home and stay inside.  We had an ice storm this year and the everything was shut down.  Usually all signs of snow or ice are gone by noon.  This time of year our average high is 60F and average low is 45F.

Even in our mountains the snows don’t stay long; a couple of days and it warms up and it all melts.  Areas that don’t get sun hold on to their snow longer.  Roads are hazardous, especially at higher elevations.  Our winter temperatures in the mountains average 50F for the high and 27F for the low.

Visit Remington and Ozzabella HERE.

Opie (visit him here) asked if the booklet came from the mail carrier.  Yes it did.  I’d been waitin’ for my Human to stop talkin’ to her so we could take the mail into the house.

Sage (visit him here) thought I looked sleepy.  Layin’ in the sun is a warm drowsy time.  The sun is also super bright and it makes me squint.

HoundDog Mom needs some sunshine…bein’ in the southeast, unless y’all are on the northeast coast, it’s hard to send sunshine.  We do send some weather up the coast, but usually it’s storms.  Better y’all come visit here.

All Things Dog (visit here) likes the way I always comment “y’all come by now” or “y’all come back now”.  She thinks I sound like a “game show host from the Deep South”…

I’m in the southeast, technically not the DEEP SOUTH, but let’s just say Savannah isn’t far…When they talk to each other, my Humans always say “hi y’all, how y’all doin’?”  When they part they say “y’all come by now” and when they leave after a visit, the hostess says “y’all come back now.”  Momma says when she was young the restaurants said “y’all come back” when you paid your bill or were leaving the establishment.

When I decided to start my blog, I realized that I couldn’t use my eyes, my hackles or say woof, roo, grrrr…no one would understand.  I already knew what the Humans were sayin’, so it was just a matter of learnin’ to print instead of using a recorder.

The crew at Go Pet Friendly (visit here) said I look like I’m good at playin’ football.  Not to blow my own horn, but I’m good at most ball games!

Here I am playin’ Wubba ball.   I only get to play this when we’re in the mountains.

This next picture I’m playin’ catch with a bouncy hard rubber bone.

Tomorrow I’ll show y’all some of my early morning sights.

Y’all come back now.
