Meet the Happy Couple!

Hi Y’all!

I want y’all to meet the happy couple Lucy and Sawyer!

Meet Lucy.

Lucy is a beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retriever, like me.

Meet Sawyer.  He is a beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever.

This handsome pair were left to board at a local vet clinic.  Unfortunately their humans never returned to get them.  Can you imagine?

This pair are good with other dogs, children and cats.  Both are obedient and calm; the perfect family members.

Since they are bonded, the Alabama Animal Adoption Agency would like Lucy and Sawyer to be adopted together.

Unfortunately they can only adopt to the local Birmingham, Alabama area.

For more information please contact aaas2808@yahoo.com.

If you know anyone in the area looking for the perfect family members tell them about Lucy and Sawyer.  What more could anyone ask but for a pair of obedient dogs that are already housebroken, good with children, good with cats, and
good with dogs?

Y’all come back now!

  5. Unless their family met a horribly tragic death after dropping those two gorgeous dogs off, there is simply NO EXCUSE!! I hope someone has room in their heart and home to adopt them.

  7. I work for a shelter and unfortunately, this happens quite often. They look like very gorgeous older dogs; I sure hope they find a home :( We have a senior Pomeranian and miniature pinscher at our shelter that also must be adopted together - that's the thing that turns people away, I think. It's sad. Good luck to these babies!!

  10. Wow, beautiful pair. I can't believe those silly humans! How could they leave such a beautiful pair behind? *sigh* It happens to much. I would never do that, if I couldn't take care of one of my pets I would try to find a loving, giving home for him/her. Never would I leave them in a Animal Clinic! Ever!
    Have a great day.

Also we have awarded you the Sunshine award. Come by to claim it!

  11. Our trainer also has a boarding kennel and over the years he has had a couple of situations where people have just left their pets and never come back. Then in order to place them, they have to go to court. Big pain. Lucky they are animal lovers and did the best they could for these pets. I can't imagine people just leaving their pets. I hope Lucy and Sawyer find good homes.
