Tuesday’s Titan

Meet Titan!

Titan

Titan is a pure bred Chesapeake Bay Retriever.  He is only 6 years old, house trained, crate trained and doesn’t get on furniture.  He gets along well with the other dogs who live in his foster home.  He also loves people.

His foster mom says he is the “most easy going Chessie” she has ever met.  However she reminds prospective adopters that a Chessie needs an experienced dog owner.

How’d Titan end up lookin’ for a new forever home?  Sadly, his owner was ill for a long time and passed away.  He was cage boarded for 8 weeks until a rescue had room for him.

He is being fostered by Operation Paws for Homes near Gainesville, Va.

***Visit this link if you are interested in adoption Titan.  Pet adoption services are provided to families located in Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Southern Pennsylvania and neighboring states.

Operation Paws for Homes rescues dogs of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters.  Operation Paws for Homes does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. Dogs are placed with foster families where they can get love and attention while waiting for a forever home.  The foster family learns about each dog and their needs.  This information is provided to future adopters.  The goal is to find the best match for each dog.

Operation Paws for Homes, a 501(c)(3) organization, is 100% donor funded. We receive no funding from federal, state, or county governments. As a result, we rely on donations and our adoption fees in order to save the dogs in need that join our rescue organization.

  4. Certainly hope this handsome boy finds a new family soon - one would think there would be at least several potential homes given his personality and adorable face.
