Hi Y’all!
Sigh…out of the cool mountain air and back to the shore.
The time had come to return to the low country and the shore.
So the Humans loaded me into my crate in the back of the SUV and we had a leisurely drive.
We didn’t have to go through the cities, so I got to visit my usual mailstops.
The further east we went the hotter it became. So stops became less frequent and I know my Human’s foot was getting a little heavy on the “go peddle”.
This was the Crape Myrtle at our last stop.
Y’all come back now.
Hello! We found our way here from Oscar Blogger, nice to meet you. We loved looking at the photo's of your trip and look forward to seeing more, Dex & Lou x
ReplyDeleteHope it doesn't get too hot!

ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower. I invite you to visit my blog and become a follower, if you want too.
God bless you and have a nice day :-)
BTW, Great Photos!
What great shots. Our humans tend to get clumzy, have accidents, and slow us down. We are working on improving their agility to increase our walk time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Travels!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip! Those Crepe Myrtles are beautiful!

Hi Hawk
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I'm glad we met thanks to What Dogs Do.
My Lady Of The House has a friend who has a dog called Frankie that she adopted as a puppy from the RSPCA in England. They told her she was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever-cross but we don't think they were right because she looks more like a Rhodesian Ridgeback to us. She doesn't look much like you.
You are a very handsome dog and we are looking forward to following your adventures.
Love and licks, Winnie
Have fun Hawk.
ReplyDeleteYou have been given an Inspiration Award!

Well, it will be nice to see your shore pictures again Hawk! Though, I'm sorry it is so hot. You could come here if you like, we think that sumer is never coming to our house.
ReplyDeleteHawk looks very handsome against the green background of the trees.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to go to where it's hotter, Hawk. I know it warmed up here pretty fast, which makes Darby happy to be a housedog :)
