Hi Y’all!
It’s Sunday and we’re off to church!
Water traffic is picking up, everyone headed to church.
Entire families come to church, including us dogs.
People help each other tie up. If you’re late, you have to anchor behind these boats.
A little girl and her dog go up for children’s story time. The preacher is the one standing on the raised pulpit under the umbrella.
While the Offering is collected the children gather around the preacher. The adults on their boats can hear the story too. It leads directly into the sermon.
People also come in golf carts and cars.
After the service, at the back of this boat a Jack Russell Terrier supervises as a family leaves for a morning of fun on the water.
Headin’ home!
Almost home!

ReplyDeleteNow that is a great idea! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you paid attention during the sermon. Did you leave a treat in the offering plate?
ReplyDeleteYOu are having great weather there, here in Colorado, snow is forcast for tonight in the high mountains and perhaps down into the foot hills. Several ski slopes are still open and one plans on trying to be open coninuously until the fall snow starts again.

Brown Dog, what a lovely way to attend church and I'm certain all the elements make the service even more special! How cool is that! So I want to know what it is you pray for? I might pray for some kitty treats or maybe a new catnip mouse...

ReplyDeleteHawk, you get to go to church? On a boat? Cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to attend Church. We are only allowed to go during the blessing of the pets. This sounds like a fun way for everyone to go.
ReplyDeleteNow, I am not a church-goer, but if I was, I'd want to go to your church!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThat made me smile LOTS! Really, that's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Our pastor brought his doggie to church one Sunday and it was a huge hit! Makes me think that dogs should be allowed to come more often. :)
