Inspiration Award

Hi Y’all,

As I stated yesterday, I am awed and honored to be chosen for such a special Award by fellow blogger, Cindy Lu’s Muse (Here).

As promised, here are the ten recipients to whom I am passing the Inspiration Award!

This was a TOUGH choice! So manyInspirationAward_thumb[5] blogs inspire me!

These blogs are not in any special order, but all are great reads. Click on any blog title to be transported there.

You can also click on the Award to go to Cindy Lu’s Muse.

1. My Life with Fly Ball Dogs.

This blog is not just about Fly Ball, but life with dogs and dog sports and pictures too.

2. Oscar the Pooch

Oscar is another Miniature Schnauzer just over a year in age. This is cute blog detailing the challenges of raising and feeding a smart pup. Lots of pictures too.

3. According to Gus

You don’t want to miss Gus as he and his family relocate from San Antonio. Scroll back through his blog as he visits all of his favorite pet friendly spots in SanAntonio.

4. The Chronicles of Cardigan

This is about Corgis Jon Farleigh and Dewi. Some entries are more humorous, some serious, but the posts are always entertaining.

5. Boondocks the Wonderdog

This Golden pup joined the family of 4 Goldens and has recently been joined by a pup which had its leg amputated. If you love Goldens, you’ll love reading Boondock’s tales.

6. The Rowdy Retriever Girls

You can quickly figure out why we love this blog. This is just another Human who shares her life with, in this case, 2 retrievers. Much like my own blog, only the Human tells it from her side, while I give you the dog’s eye view, it’s about the everyday life of a retriever.

7. Sammie and Avalon

Sammie tells the tales of daily life with little sis Avalon. If you love Goldens this blog is another must read.

8. Bert’s Blog

Bert is both a search dog and a therapy dog. His blog is filled with lots of great dog action. He has lots of dog friends with whom he enjoys playing and getting into mischief. There are lots of pictures to illustrate the adventures.

9. Sawyer the Schnauzer

Sawyer is a Miniature Schnauzer, about a year old, who loves to eat anything. Anyone who has had a young dog, and a few old ones who never outgrew the “eat anything” phase, can relate.

10. What Dog’s Do

Living in London UK, the author received her first dog at the age of 13. Her interest in learning more about dogs is shared in this blog. Since the author has retired racing greyhounds, it has been particularly interesting reading her recent posts on recall. A solid recall is what we all strive to have with our dogs. It certainly seems counter intuitive to have a retired racer with a solid recall. While there are not a lot of pictures, the information she shares on reading body language and training trials and tribulations is worth following.

Now, don’t forget, there are a few rules that go with accepting this award.

1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded this to you.

2. Link posts by you and ten fellow bloggers that you find inspirational.

3. Forward the award to those ten fellow bloggers.

  8. Thanks so much, Hawk! I will take some time tonight to think about which of the many fantastic blogs I read that I'll pass this award on to, and check out the other blogs that I haven't read yet. I love reading your blog, looking at your lovely pictures and hearing about how your humans work on your training, so it's an honour to get this award from you. Thanks again!

  14. We have been soooooooooooo horribly rude about not only THANKING you for your generosity and thoughtfulness in passing this amazing award to us, but in congratulating you in receiving it. Thanks a million, Hawk, and we apologize. We blame Mom for the tardiness - she and Dadda have been mighty crazy nuts about a few things over here and it seems that lately, it's all we can do to nudge her to take dictation from us! We will get to that wonderful award furry soon...
