It’s the same kind of scent I catch on our hikes, and it isn’t cattle.
One thing about snow, it encourages running to keep warm…helps raise the heartbeat!

“Hawk! Is this not the craziest weather ever? It dropped 40 degrees overnight! And the WIND! OH MY WORD. To top it all off, my hometown, way deep south of here, is closing schools tomorrow because of ice! Menopausal. That's what the weather is.

Schools here are delayed and in the low country, at the shore, I think they may try to reopen today, Friday. Weather like this has never been seen there. It’s even strange for here in the mountains.
Gotta go! My feet are frozen!
