Thoughtful Thursday

Hi Y’all!

Today I want to introduce two Seniors to y’all.

First, meet Mona

Sweet Mona has lots to offer, especially if you are looking for that perfect companion to be at your side, keep you company and ask very little.

Mona, a retriever mix, weighs about 42 pounds and is calm and loving.  Always the perfect lady, she loves leisurely walks, mid-day naps and ear scratches.

Mona is 13 years old.  She was a stray, rescued from a kill shelter.  She’s had surgery to remove mammary tumors, all benign.  She’s had her teeth cleaned and a blood panel and is in excellent health.  She’s a bit hard of hearing and like many of us of “age” has some sight limitations.

Be patient, all she wants is her person to be close.  She wants to follow you and lay at your feet.  Otherwise she is easy going and easy care.  She doesn’t let her sight and hearing limitations slow her.

Mona is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  The vet feels to spay her would cause unnecessary hardship on her health considering her age.

Visit her Petfinder Page by clicking here or on her name or photo.

You can contact Mona at Elder Paws Senior Dog Rescue in Fresno, CA.  The telephone is:  559-261-5746 or if you prefer to email:
