Another beautiful day!
It was a bit windy today, but temperatures were great! Just about 70 degrees Fahrenheit! (21C)
We had another great hike!
Papa didn’t go all the way with us, so my Human ran and jogged while I raced ahead to be sure nothing scary was lurking there.
On the way home, my Human was driving when we saw a a Jake (male turkey) was displaying for a hen. Then another young Jake chased the hen (female turkey) across the road. Unfortunately my Human did not have her good camera with her and the picture did not turn out.
Y’all come back now!

I love that last picture of you running. You sure do look happy! I didn't know that a male turkey was called a Jake. I'll have to use that one on my son as that's his name! BOL! Too bad your Momma's picture didn't turn out. :(ReplyDelete
Hank you look so happy in that last photo/ It made me smile real big.ReplyDelete
We can tell just exactly how much you LOVE your hikes and your jogs!! Look at that great big SMILE!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBugReplyDelete
Quick question, why in the world are turkeys called Jake... sounds a little turkey feminist to me ^^.ReplyDelete
Anyway, if your human hasn't told you of what a great job you are doing protecting her, let me just say, Good Job!
Huggies and Cheese,
What a beautiful day! Too bad the turkey pictures didn't turn out - maybe you need to start carrying a backpack with the *good* camera for your person :-)ReplyDelete
You have so many great areas to run in and explore. Love watching turkeys.ReplyDelete
What a beautiful area you have to run in! Sounds like you had a fun time. :)ReplyDelete
That last pic is priceless!!!ReplyDelete
You look like you are having the best time running down that trail, Hawk. Too bad you didn't get that pic of the Jake. I bet that was something!ReplyDelete
It's hard for us humans to bring our "good" cameras with us everywhere. Looks like you are having a great Spring Hawk. So much to explore and smell. :)ReplyDelete
Hi Hawk, well it is working now, plus I found that if I go to my Google browser I can get it there too. Don't know what the deal is but, one way or the other......ReplyDelete
Love the last picture of you with your ears up and how happy you look.
I think the new saying should be "Happiness is Hawk"
