Meet Jake!

Hello!  I’m Jake-Reno!  I’m in need of a home where someone will take the time to work with me and help me to understand more about what I’m supposed to do.  I hear sit, down, stay, but don’t really remember what’s expected of me.  It’s been a long time since I learned these commands and nobody has enforced them in a long time.

I’m okay on a leash, but my foster mom is working with me to help me be better.

I’m housetrained. I ask, but only when I really, really have to go.  My foster mom says I’m “subtle” about it, but when I ask you need to respond.

I’m not much of a barker…my foster mom says I love everybody.

I’m getting used to my foster family.  There is a cat…first time I’ve lived with a cat…and there is a girl dog who lives here too.  She’s nice.

I’m a big boy and love to jump, so my foster mom says I really must have a fenced yard.  I personally, would just love to have someone to be a companion and love me.

If you’d like to be that companion, please fill out and application and talk to Terry Roy.  (510) 334-1044 • TerrySC2@aol.com

I’m in the Chessie Southwest Rescue.

You can find the application on line here:

(Jake is neutered, vaccinated (rabies, DHLPP, and bordetella), heartworm-tested, microchipped, and tested/treated for intestinal worms)  There is a home visit requirement and an adoption fee.
