Meet the Blogger

Hi Y’all!

P1300783

This is a special post.  I am joining

Meet the Pet Bloggers Hop

You see I am an only dog, so naturally I am “dog crazy”…but today isn’t about me…true I am the blogger, but behind me is my supporting staff…my Human, who is photographer and editor…(although she isn’t always very diligent in the latter).

Everyone already knows me from my daily blog, which I started in 2008 and switched to blogger in 2009.  So, I thought I’d tell y’all about my Human…(since she’s almost always behind the camera, the above are the only pictures I have of her other than one with a couple of her horses on the “more about me” page)

and these taken when I was learning to bring a retrieve to hand instead of playing “keep away”.

swimming out for the mark.

What’s your favorite non-animal related movie?  First thing you have to know, is my Human can count the number of movies she’s seen in her life on both hands…she says her favorite would be Patton or Gone with the Wind.

I'll just pull one of these balls off my tree.

What’s your favorite non-animal related food?  Her favorite  food would be a fruit, depending on the season either peaches or apples.

mid April 2009 Great day for a swim

Who’s your favorite actor?  She says she doesn’t have a favorite actor.  Maybe it’s because she couldn’t name an actor or actress?

What’s one thing you have to do every day?  This one is easy…she has to go outside with me at least 4 times a day!

 P1300779
Favorite meal?  I know!  I know!   She loves oysters!!!  That’s her favorite!

P1300780

P1300781
What do you like to do in your free time?  This one is easy too…in her free time my Human likes to hike with me or spend time setting up retrieves for me.

Behind me is Tennessee

What one word would people who know you use to describe you? Anyone who knows my Human says she is “sweet”, one friend even said she was maybe too sweet.

P1300105

If your pets could talk, what one word would THEY use to describe you? BOL, I can’t talk, but I can bark and make other noises and I voice myself on this blog, since it is my blog…I’d describe my Human as the focal point of my life and she is my shadow…or maybe it’s the other way around…oh, just one word?  I can’t.

P1300745

If you could change one thing about your life what would it be?  My Human said she wouldn’t change anything about her life.

P1300748

What drives you nuts about your pets? What melts your heart?  I know my barking at her when I want something drives my Human nuts.  When I’m almost always so obedient melts her heart.

P1300753

If you didn’t have your current pets, what pets would you choose to have?  If my Human didn’t have me, she’d still have a dog.  She’s never been without a dog.

As for me, I’ve never been without a Human!!!

P1300754

Check in on me each day to discover what I’ve been doing…the blog is my personal diary.  If you miss, I end my week on This n That Thursday (links in my sidebar) and round up the week and answer questions on Follow Up Friday (links in my sidebar).  Everyday is a fitness day…but there is a hop for that on Friday too!

Y’all come by now!

  2. I'm not a fan of any fish, but I admire your mom loves oysters. I wish I liked seafood more. Growing up in the midwest has tainted me. :)

You are one lucky dog Hawk. 4 times a day? Wow. My dogs would love that.

Clearly your mom enjoys nature and the fruits of mother nature. She's pretty cool in my book. :)

  13. Great photos!
I love most seafood, and I am slowly learning to love osyters! Sadly, not much opportunity for that in land-locked Calgary.
