Hi Y’all!
Time for Thursday’s Barks and Bytes Blog Hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like a Dog and Thoughtless Thursday hosted by Ruckus the Eskie and Love is Being Owned by a Husky.
Let’s take a minute to look back to last Friday’s comments about “Lift Your Spirits!”…
haopee queried…
“Are those?!? Are those cherry blossoms? They look beautiful!
It's better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure the humans will be up and running again once the temperature drops to a desirable temp”
Yes, those are cherry blossoms. The tulip magnolias are also blooming.
K9s OverCoffee remarked…
“Aren't these temperature changes crazy?? We also had temps in the low 70s this weekend, and had to adjust our outside play & exercise time accordingly. Standing in the water is a very smart way to cool off, and we will definitely get one of those hard plastic kid pools for the pups this year. Last year they were sold out, so we had to go for an inflatable one..didn't last the season, of course..”
Our average temps this time of year are around 70 F (about 21 C) with a low in the 40’s (about 4 C). This week temps are running from the high 70’s to mid and upper 80’s (about 29C). It reached 89F yesterday (between 31C and 32 C)
On Monday I addressed Sunday’s post What’s So Interesting. So let’s look back to Mischief Monday’s happy return!
Janet Keefe asked…
“No wonder you were riveted at the window, Hawk! So did the geese end up winning?
Jan, Wag 'n Woof Pets”
You bet they did!
Yesterday’s, Wordless Wednesday post, Look at the Antics brought these remarks…
“So didja bark em up?”
“OMD was that a chase????? Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly”
As the 2browndawgs point out…
“I know you aren't chasing them Hawk so what has them all riled up?”
“wow! the geese dance the swanlake ballet....that's a world news... can I buy a ticket for a seat in the first row?
easy rider”
My Human says it’s “hanky panky”
Stay tuned…You’ve got a front row seat, Easy. Y’all have tickets to the dance!
Y’all come on back!
We love seeing the Cherry Blossoms. They are always so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe Cherry Blossoms are so gorgeous, and holy cow 89 degrees :)
ReplyDeleteWe're a mushy mess up here in the northeast - the snow is melting faster than the ground can handle it. Love those cherry blossoms!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till I can see the cherry blossoms here too, it's great to see some spring greetings via your blog :o) I bet even the geese are happy and celebrated spring with a famous dance event :o)

ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures of all the geese. Hopefully they will be headed up our way soon.
ReplyDeleteWe did have some lovely weather and then it got cold again. We might be having snow/ice/freezing rain tomorrow night, but a LOT of the snow has already melted and there are areas where people have shoveled where you can actually see the ground. It gives us hope!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the blog hop Hawk.
Haha I got a good laugh about the geese and the hanky panky. It is that time of year! Thanks so much for joining the hop!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear the rest of the story about the geese! We hope we'll be seeing ours again soon....but we still have a lot of snow, and our promise of spring went away! Cold today and snow this weekend! We'll just enjoy your photos for now then. :)
