Hi Y’all!
Todays post is brought to you by: 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like a Dog, hosts of Barks and Bytes Blog Hop as well as Ruckus the Eskie and Love is Being Owned by a Husky in Thoughtless Thursday.
First, how’s this for a “blooper”? Can you figure out what you’re seein’? BOL…
It’s been a HECTIC week! The Humans have had nothing but meetings. It has been cold enough I’ve been travelin’ with them.
Now, let me get to some of the questions…
Amy Boyer, about last week’s Fit Friday post “Take Advantage of Every Moment and Fly” asked…
“Hawk you sure love to run in the woods don't you! What are you wearing in the photos? Is it a life jacket?”
Emma wants to know…
“You sure do fly! Are you wearing the vest because of hunting season?”
It is sort of a life vest. It’s hunting season in most rural areas…birds, deer, wild boar, squirrel, rabbit, bear…
Although, this time of year, most of our hikin’ is on private land, there are neighboring woods we have no control over.
If you are a rural hiker and would like a vest for your dog, my Human got it from Chewy.com. This link takes you directly to the page with the vest.
Measure your dog carefully. Go here for 2browndawgs review and for more photos of it in action check here.
Nerissa queried…
“Oohhh... Looks like you're havin' LOTS of fun out there in the woods. You take your peeps for hikes, often?
Purrs,
Nissy”
Every day weather permits, unless the Humans have meetings.
About Saturday’s Sepia post…
How Sam Sees It asks…
“Are you ready for Christmas? We just got our house decorated, but haven't even started on anything else!
Monty and Harlow”
We’re ready! My Human says except for cookin’ for Christmas dinner with the family, she’s ready as she’ll ever be.
You know what that means…she’s already gotten my present! Oh I can’t wait!
About Black and White Sunday
Oz theTerrier wants to know
“OOooh, a roll in the leaves? Do they crunch when you roll on them? Happy B&W Sunday
Oz”
They don’t crunch as much as they do before they get wet.
About Monday’s post “Sorry Y’all”…
“no mischief? I agree, I avoid that mischief now too (nealy LOL). I'm sure the vest is great for the SS-Gang when they are out for hunting. I would like to see a flashing G-man :o)
Easy Rider” remarks.
Talent Hounds says…
“No mischief from Hawk?! I don't believe it! LOL”
wants to know…
“That's a dashing vest you've got there Hawk! But what's with the no mischief? Don't be scared, Santa comes regardless, I called their bluff! :)
I hope you're having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy :)”
What? Y’all question that I could get through an entire week with no mischief?
Don’t y’all know, I’m a really, really good boy! Ask my Humans!
Y’all come on back!
Great weekly follow up Hawk and have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We enjoyed your follow up Hawk!! You ARE a good boy!! xo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteI was so mad. I had our vest out ready to take on our last hunting trip and I forgot it last minute. I was so worried about having a sandwich and drinks for us, first aid kit, camera, many layers of clothes because I was not sure how warm or cold it would be, my hunting vest and hat, extra boots/socks....well you get the picture. Anyway there it sat on the counter! Thanks so much for joining the hop.
ReplyDeleteHey Hawk! You look really "sporting" in that vest! My humans have those vests for themselves, but I don't go into the woods. Mom and I don't want to run into any snakes or coyotes. ☺
ReplyDeleteHey that's a really cool vest there, Hawk! I don't go into the woods anymore since my family discovered that I'm a tick magnet....yuck! We're ready for Christmas too! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Blog Hop Hawk. I sure believe you can get through a week with no mischief. :-) I like your vest. Sampson and Delilah each have one but I don't like the way they are designed. Tell your human thank you for providing the link!
ReplyDeleteYou are a great boy! Thanks for all the info, especially about the "life vest!" I'll want to get one of those so I am never mistaken for game if we're ever in the woods!
ReplyDeleteYou are a fantastic boy and I see you ear and tail, you are moving way to fast buddy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for answering my question! That's a brilliant way to keep safe in the woods. I should have guessed :)
ReplyDeleteIs that a fast action tail wag? Thanks for sharing on Thoughtless Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI always love coming by to check out your photos and adventures Hawk!
