Hi Y’all!
So, how was your Thanksgiving? Were you stuck in snow or did you get to go?
Today’s mischief is brought to you by Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, and My Brown Newfies.
The weatherman got the weather ALL wrong! He called for 8 inches Wednesday and then just a dusting from a “fast movin’ clipper” on Thanksgivin’.
Instead the sun came out Wednesday afternoon and the temperature climbed into the 50’s (Fahrenheit). What snow there was disappeared.
Then came Thanksgivin’…and that speedy clipper dumped lots of snow on us…
My Human Editor said I need to qualify that statement…it was lots of sleet mostly…lots for this time of year.
The roads were icy and the “fast movin’ clipper” stayed the entire day and into Friday.
I was a happy camper! I had my Humans home with me ALL day! We watched it sleet and snow. We played. We napped…well I napped.
Hope y’all had as wonderful a Thanksgivin’ as I did!
Y’all come on back!
It wuz warm here, almost 80 today!
ReplyDeleteI had no clue that even snow can be good for something. Butt if your humans were on your side and you had a really great time, so this time: yay fdor the snow. Stay warm and comfy and be careful on the icy roads...

Sorry it snowed so much on Thanksgiving but hope you had a great one. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We had a great Thanksgiving and weekend. Now it is back to work :( We got about 6" of snow which we love, and lots of super cold weather too. The sleet missed us, luckily. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHey Hawk, we didn't get any snow but we did get some rain yesterday. Sometimes i'ts nice to get a change in weather - we don't get it very often here in SoCal.
ReplyDeleteWow, Hawk...the snow is so pretty! You know, a little snow (or sleet) on a holiday isn't so bad. It provides a great excuse to play together and take lots of snuggly naps together. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you and your family did too!

Snow can be fun too!
ReplyDeleteNo snow here at all. A little bit of sleet but it didn't stick. It is getting colder though.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great holiday. Ours was good too. Weird weather, warm, cold, snow, warm
ReplyDeleteHawk - so far all we've seen is "nothing" For Thanksgiving our weather was incredible. Today it was in the high 60's and tomorrow we're supposed to get a wintery mix - yeah right! We had a great time with family, hope you did too!
ReplyDeleteI guess the cold and wet is worth it if you get your humans home the whole day to enjoy it with you! As you know, cuddles are a top priority for me! By the way, the mountains in the background are splendid, wish I could play there as well! *wags*
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a very nice day, Hawk! We got over a foot of snow on Wednesday evening, but luckily things cleared out by Thanksgiving morning for those that had to travel. We only had to go 5 miles down the road for dinner with family!
