Hi Y’all!
It’s time for Thursday’s Barks and Bytes Blog Hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like a Dog.
And joinin’ up with Ruckus the Eskie and Love is Being Owned by a Husky in Thoughtless Thursday.
And…the countdown continues!
Going back to last Thursday’s post
Ruckus Eskie asked
“Is that a fast action tail wag? Thanks for sharing on Thoughtless Thursday!”
It is movin’ as fast as I am, just side to side and in a circle! Oh, and don’t forget the “ear wave!”
Immo queries…
“Are you wearing the vest because of hunting season?” ... dogvesthunting.blogspot.com”
It sure is! (hunting season). And we never worried because we hike on private land that is posted “no hunting”. However it adjoins private land owned by others. Last year the Humans noticed a hunting platform just below the property line and decided I needed a vest. I always wore a red collar, but my Humans felt I’d be safer in this vest.
Hey, I wear a life vest when I’m out in the boat.
Jumping ahead to Sepia Saturday’s post on My Changing World…
Marii Lg asks
Going swimming? :)
Thinkin’ about it!
Moving on the Sunday’s post Black and White and Bird…
“the bird looks a little lonesome, do you think he would like some company? Have a wonderful Sunday!
Easy Rider”
“What kind of bird is that? A stork?”
He is a Great Egret. With his yellow bill he spears fish. He has black legs and is only slightly smaller than the Great Blue Heron.
The Great Blue in contrast…
Both birds can fold their necks into their shoulders. And I’m sorry Easy, I don’t think he’s lonely.
Movin’ on to Mischief Monday’s Ten More Days…
Susan Willett asks…
“That's frost, not snow? Wow!
--Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats.”
Laika wonders…
“Heavy frost while there are leaves on the tree?”
It rarely if ever snows here in the southeast U.S. This was an early and very heavy frost.
Yes, there are still leaves on some of the trees…this is the land of myrtles, live oaks, Palmetto trees and Spanish Moss (known locally as “air plants”). (Cypress lose their needle like leaves. They turn brown when the days shorten and then they shed them)
and Jerry E Beuterbaugh from As the Crackerhead Crumbles questions
“10 days until what?”
10 days ‘til Santa Claus comes!
Santa Claus brings us pawed ones presents!
Today is Thursday…ONE WEEK remaining!
Y’all know that Hanukkah began on Tuesday at sundown and ends December 24th. So Happy Hanukkah everyone!
Y’all come on back and join me in fitness fun tomorrow!
Thanks so much for joining the Barks and Bytes hop. Love the picture of the ducks. Looks like they are enjoying the weather. :)
ReplyDeleteNice one Hawk and even if the vest if for practical reasons it does look good on you. Have a tremendous Thursday.

ReplyDeleteEar wave haha! Thanks for the update about the tail action. . Happy Thoughtless Thursday! =)

Murphy & Stanley
Pee Ess - A new POTP page will be announced tomorrow. You can follow us at http://blogvillepotp.blogspot.com/
Your human is very wise Hawk. Sampson and Delilah have vests for hunting season too, even though I try to stay out of those areas. Especially Sampson as he is more of a deer color than Delilah is.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the blog hop.
